A Public Works employeeThe Department of Public Works is part of the City's Service Department and is directed and supervised by the Superintendent of Public Works. It consists of a Park Crew, a Paint and Sign Crew, a Street Crew, a Water Crew, and the Municipal Garage. This division has approximately 15 personnel.

Public Works Leaf Cleanup Schedule

November 5, 2021 through December 20, 2021. Public Works will continue picking up leaf yard waste until December 20 or until the first snowfall, whichever comes first.

Fallen leavesPlease have your leaves piled up at the curb. You can expect to see Public Works in your area 1 to 2 days after your scheduled trash pickup. To guarantee pick up, put the leaves in the paper lawn bags that you can pick up at the Norwood Health Department for free.
